I've decided to do my PowerPoint presentation on Bill Brandt as I have an interest in his abstract approach towards nude photography, along with his ability to tell a story through his photographs. His pictures taunt the viewer to look at photography differently; his image of the "Ear on the Beach" shows his desire to try new and daring means in photography.

Bill Brandt has shown through his dramatic prints that he refuses to conform to the norms of photography. This is what attracts me to research his life further, to attempt an understanding of his perspective of photography.
